Humanities

Humanities S omeone recently questioned me about the reason why I chose Humanities rather than choosing Science or Commerce. Well, I sometimes wonder the reason why people questioned me so much about this when they gained knowledge about my really good scores in boards. Later I came to know that the way people look at Humanities is entirely different from the way I do. This is 21st century. Yet, most of the educated people have misconceptions regarding the streams of study, let alone be the uneducated class. People give stress to science at the first place, and if a child scores average, he or she is put into commerce and the rest into Humanities. This trend is continuing till today and the only reason behind is the lack of knowledge in parents as well as students. Somewhere, parents don't know the importance of humanities in a society. Waiting...

Waiting...  "On an inexperienced long path  When you gently crossed my way  A fascination stroke my heart And my darkest night turned into a bright day..." Never knew life would show unexpected things at unexpected times and surprisingly, with unexpected persons. Patience is one of the biggest elements of life that can make up something or break it up too! Patience is important, but not all the time. Things need to be done at the right time no matter how sweet the thing is. Like sweets can't be consumed all the time, patience, though a thing of importance and demand can't be practiced all the time. Sometimes, you just need to take other steps rather than testing your own patience and sobbing hidden tears.  Still waiting for the perfect person to dive into these words and find out a box of treasure to be stored as a memory forever...   ©Anindita Janhabee Swaro

MEMORIES

MEMORIES... Sweet moments stored forever in a heart - Memories, are like the pearls stored in a sea, shine stored in the sun and twinkle stored in a star. Memories aren't built intentionally but the moments you enjoy to the fullest turn into sweet memories the next moment. Some of them give you pain, some give pleasure. Yet, the combination of both becomes the most memorable part of your life. Memories need not be written or photographed all the time. They just need to be remembered and cared forever. Not mind, but heart is the best place to hold memories. Memories can be made unforgettable when stored in the core of your heart. They're like evaporating water. You turn off the heat or see those evaporating. Never let your ego or anger turn into heat and evaporate the memories. No matter bitter or sad, memories always make you realize who you were, how you were and helps you create a better you today...  ©Anindita Janhabee Swaro
